Welcome to SG Rally, Singapore's first elections media archive

The Singapore Elections are coming. With that in mind, this blog has been set up to aggregate coverage of the elections. Not everyone can attend all the rallies. Not every rally is televised or covered. Hence the purpose of this blog.

If you attend a rally, any party's rally, and record it as video or as audio, digitize it, and upload it to Google Video or Youtube.com, then send us the link. We will post the links to the recordings so that all Singaporeans can watch and listen to the speeches for themselves. Please record the rally speeches without commentary.

Our email address is:

Please include in your email to us:

1. The name of the speaker(s);

2. Where the rally took place;

3. The date and time.

Please also use the word "sgrally" in the title of the file.

If you do not know how to upload to Google Video, email us the file, and we will do it for you.

If you are uncomfortable with using your own email address to send us the links or the files, you can use anonymous email services like mytrashmail.com.

We have disabled comments for this blog, because it is meant as an election media archive. If you wish to comment on the election, or any speeches featured here, do so on your own blogs. If you like, you may wish to tag or entitle your posts (or photos, for that matter) with the tag "" so that readers can find all the conversations via Technorati.com.

Let's see how many rallies we can cover as people on the ground. Better start preparing your recording equipment now.
